The Starlight Children’s Foundation knows hospitals can be daunting places, particularly if you’re young.
Thanks to renewed funding, the charity will be able to continue to visit sick kids at Lismore Base Hospital and other regional centres.
“I think it really brightens their day to see us peek around the edge of the curtain and bring some more fun”
The Starlight performers use face painting, comedy, music and art to help make a stint in hospital a little more fun.
“They’re very funny, they’re not just for little toddlers, or anything, they can make a joke for everyone, so it’s been good.”
