BLOOD TESTING FOR RED ZONE RESIDENTS LIKELY TO START NEXT MONTH
Blood testing for residents affected by the Williamtown RAAF contamination is likely to start in November.
The news came at a community information session, organised by the federal health department.
Around 70 people turned up, to ask questions and receive advice, on how PFAs chemicals may be impacting their health.
“Because uncertainty creates anxiety and worry, people become upset. We’ve seen and heard some of that today. That’s not surprising so part of our role is to give consistent messages about the situation,” said Dr Tony Hobbs, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Australia.

This story is just disappointing! Firstly blood test have been available to residents for months now at no cost – just send your bill to Defence. Secondly there were no answers at this meeting! It was nothing more then this Government trying to reduce their liability.
