PORT STEPHENS COUNCIL TO BEGIN WORKS
Four Port Stephens intersections are about to be made safer, thanks to funding from a federal blackspot program.
The work, to be undertaken by Port Stephens Council, will include a set of traffic lights and a raised pedestrian crossing at the entrance to the Shoal Bay shopping precinct.
As well as an acceleration lane at Salamander Bay.
The design process will begin immediately, and construction should be complete by the end of the financial year.
