Westerly winds for all to kick start the first weekend of Spring. Those winds will be quite strong and the swell will battle to push in against them. The westerly winds will ease along the northern NSW and South-East Queensland coasts. They will remain strong for Newcastle and Central Coast waters.
The mid to late morning high tide will also swallow some of that swell. The swell direction will be out of the north to begin with before switching to the south. Should be a good weekend of waves certainly worth looking around to find your own private wave.
