RSPCA TAKES BONES FROM POSSIBLE GREYHOUND GRAVE SITE

RSPCA inspectors have taken bones from what could be another greyhound burial site.

Bobbie Antonic came across the skeletal remains of more than seven dogs while bike riding near Swan Bay, north of Newcastle, over the weekend.

She described seeing pieces of bone, fur and a hessian bag full of “dog parts.”

She said some of the skulls looked as though they had been hit by a blunt instrument.

The RSCPA inspectors visited the site for a short time this morning and took the bones for further inspection.
