The Federal Member for Paterson is calling for the Turnbull Government to clarify an election promise, relating to the Williamtown RAAF base contamination.
Meryl Swanson has written to the defence and health ministers about an independent review into safe water drinking guidelines.
“What I’ve done is written to the minister and asked for clarification on that review, who’s conducting the review and will we see it within the 30 day promised time which we need to,” said Ms Swanson.
Meanwhile a community information session will be held tonight at Hexham Bowling Club, featuring a guest speaker from the National Toxics Network.
