A man has been rushed to hospital, after being crushed by a runaway truck at Warnervale.
It’s believed the 46-year-old was driving along Warnervale Road shortly before 8am, when the brakes of his table top truck locked up.
While attempting to fix the vehicle, he accidentally released the brakes causing it to clip his leg as it rolled away.
He was flown to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital with leg injuries and remains in a stable condition.
