Newcastle City Council hopes its plans for the next stage of the Bathers Way project, will breathe new life into the neglected south Newcastle beach area.
It’s released a video of the design, which centres around a large blue skate bowl on the sand.
The proposal also includes a gym, kiosk and cafe, and forms part of council’s broader coastal revitalisation project.
