Meanwhile, the Baird Government has announced major safety improvements
to the Valla Beach and Pacific Highway intersection, where two local people were killed last year. “it’s always going to be a busy intersection people of the number of people that choose to live in that bit of paradise called Valla, and they do need a graded intersection into the future and it has some visibility issues.”
The work will commence when the new highway is opened in two weeks.
