Former Newcastle Jets keeper, Mark Birighitti has officially signed with EPL club Swansea.
The 25-year-old says he’s grateful to his old team and fans for their support, in an open farewell letter.
He’s singled out goal keeping coach Jess Vanstatten for helping him regain his confidence last year after an ordinary season before. The gloveman says he’s happy to see the Jets heading in a positive direction, with a new owner and wished them luck for next season.
“A lot of hard work has gone into it, and I’m very grateful and humbled by the opportunity to represent such a prestigious and fantastic club”, he said.
“I’m really looking forward to it. As a young footballer growing up you dream of playing in big leagues around the world such as the Premier League, which is the best in the world”.
