WILLIAMTOWN GREENHOUSE PLACED INTO VOLUNTARY ADMINISTRATION
The company behind a proposal to build Australia’s largest greenhouse at Port Stephens has been placed into voluntary administration.
It’s cast serious doubt over the future of the project, which suffered extensive damage during storms in January.
The greenhouse, at Maria’s Farm Veggies at Williamtown, was to cover 16-hectares and produce 15,000 tonnes of vegetables each year.
The company is insured, and its main shareholder is confident the project will proceed.
