MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN MID NORTH COAST COLLISION

A 61-year-old man has died in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on the Mid North Coast yesterday.

Around 4:40pm yesterday, a motorcycle with a sidecar was travelling along Princes Street, Cundletown (about 10km east of Taree), when it collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

The 61-year-old rider of the motorcycle died at the scene. No other passengers were travelling with him.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were not injured. The driver was taken for mandatory testing.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
