A Gold Coast tradie says he’ll down his tools for the last time after being told he won $20-million in the lotto.
The man, aged in his 40s, was contacted at work by Golden Casket today, after scooping the entire Division One prize from yesterday’s draw.
He initially did not believe the news.
“This has got to be a wind-up! Is this real?” he said.
“Oh my god! Please mind my language but this is f***ing awesome.”
The anonymous winner has been a construction worker all his life, but has already begun farewelling colleagues.
He plans to pay off his house and start major renovations.
