A court has heard a man accused of stabbing his former friend to death during a fight in Cessnock two years ago, pulled out the knife to protect himself.
Jack Colless was charged with murder in the hours after the incident, but has since pleaded not guilty to killing Jack Henderson.

If Mike lorigan had of been in the courtroom for more than half an hour it would have been obvious to him that the accused claim of self defence had already been disproved firstly by his girlfriends testimony and by his interview from that night. he admitted to sapproaching to fight and “end it”.Jack henderson wasnt a fighter he was a loyal loving young man.
