Hunter TAFE has hit back at claims disability support workers could be cut from campus’s on the Central Coast.
The TAFE says there will be no changes to staffing levels at this stage.
It comes after students and union representatives were told last week jobs could be on the chopping block.
The issue has been on the agenda since last year when TAFE conducted a review of the service.
TAFE will now work closely with the National Disability Insurance Scheme to help provide additional support for students with disability.
