Hundreds of people have attended this year’s Level Up event in Coffs Harbour today.
Showcasing a variety of stalls, the latest technologies and even zombies armed with Nerf guns, it caters to the region’s comic book and gaming enthusiasts.
Event coordinator, Sam Stanford says the event is only made possible by passionate volunteers who put many hours into making it happen.
“Sammy, who’s running the video games area, he loves video games, he owns hundreds of consoles. The guys who ran the Cosplay competition, they’ve been doing it for years and years and years.”
They’re looking at making it a two day event next year, with a final crowd tally of 1,000, twice that of those who attended the inaugural Level Up.
