A massive coup for Central Coast basketball with the Crusaders to host this year’s Waratah League finals at Scholastic Sports Stadium at Terrigal.
The region won over the likes of Newcastle, Maitland and Sutherland to host the premier event for the first time in eight years.
“You know hosting the Opals, the under 14 nationals and a number of other major events that are on the basketball NSW calendar definitely means we had an edge over some of the other associations”
The finals will take place in August.
