BOSS ENGINEERING RECEIVES NEAR $500,000 GRANT
Inverell business Boss Engineering is expanding its workforce thanks to a grant of almost $500,000 from the state government.
The agricultural implement manufacturer, which already has around 80 employees, plans to take on an additional 28 staff.
It will also expand its sales into Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
“Looking at a lot of low skilled positions and particularly targetting people with disability and aboriginal young people in the Inverell community, they’ll be working with BEST employment and other agencies like Connections.”
The funding is part of a program to offset economic effects of the Murray Darling Basin Plan.
