Tamworth residents will be moved to level four water restrictions from Saturday with Chaffey Dam dropping to 35 per cent capacity.
Tens of thousands of properties will be impacted, as outdoor use of town water will be banned, and public parks, gardens and sport fields won’t be irrigated with treated water.
Council is expected to address the matter in detail tomorrow.
