HUNTERS WOMEN REMAIN UNDEFEATED AFTER 60-30 WIN OVER SYDNEY COMETS

To basketball and the Hunters women, have maintained their undefeated run in the Waratah League.

Newcastle beat Hills by 24 in Sydney last night, before hammering the Comets by 30 this afternoon.

Despite shooting 29 per cent from the field, the Hunters still dominated on their home court.

In another well rounded team effort, captain Sophie Kleeman top scored for Newcastle with 10.

American import Shannon Novosel had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Ebzery sisters, Katie-Rae and Alison, chipped in with nine points each, as the Hunters won their ninth straight game.
