A man detained after allegedly shoplifting on the Central Coast more than a week ago, has died in hospital.
Police were called to an industrial equipment store at Lisarow on May 7th. There they found a 47-year-old man who was unconscious. They performed CPR before Ambulance Officers took him to Gosford Hospital in a critical condition.
The man did not regain consciousness and died this afternoon.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
