Former state liberal candidate for Newcastle, Karen Howard is preparing to take a tilt at federal politics.
Retiring MP Bob Baldwin has confirmed Ms Howard will tomorrow be endorsed as the party’s candidate for Paterson.
Ms Howard previously ran for the state seat of Newcastle, but was defeated by sitting MP Tim Crakanthorp.
She’ll be up against media personality Meryl Swanson who was endorsed as Labor’s candidate earlier this year.
