One local man is tonight a million dollars richer, after finally returning to cash his division one winning lotto ticket this morning, three days after his numbers came up.
News Extra Lismore Central sold the ticket for the Wednesday night draw, and staff had begun to wonder if the prize would be claimed.
“We didn’t know who it was. We were all a bit confused.”
“It went to a good person so that’s what we wanted.”
It’s the newsagent’s first big win and has left plenty of other punters hoping they could be next.
