A man and woman have sustained a number of injuries, after crashing into water while parasailing at Port Stephens.
The Sydney pair, aged 29 and 26, were rescued from the water by a boat at around 2.30pm and transported to d’Albora Marina at Nelson Bay for medical treatment.
Both were taken to John Hunter Hospital suffering suspected spinal injuries, the woman also has abrasions to her neck and face after having a rope caught around her neck.
They are in a stable condition.
