A man who was raped at the alter of a Moree Church has said all he wants to hear 35 years later, is the word sorry from his attacker.
Paedophile priest John Jospeh Farrell is facing sentence on 62 charges relating to the abuse of nine altar boys and three girls at Moree in the 1980s.
Sydney District Court today heard victim impact statements.
The court has heard how Farrell destroyed his young victim’s faith and caused long term mental health problems and that sorry was a simple word.
