TEENS CHARGED AFTER STRING OF HUNTER BREAK-INS
Two 14-year-old boys have been charged after they allegedly broke into a number of homes in the Hunter, often targeting elderly residents.
The pair were arrested yesterday, following a three month investigation into a spate of break ins in the region last year.
One of the teens was charged with ten offences, including shoplifting and larceny.
The other was charged with eight offences including theft and larceny.
The pair were granted strict conditional bail to face a children’s court next month.
