It’s been on the wish list for years, but plans for an upgrade to the Buckett’s Way may be one step closer, after an application for State Government funding was shortlisted.
Great Lakes, Gloucester and Port Stephen’s councils will now work together to produce a detailed application for stage one of the work.
The creation of passing lanes will be a top priority.
