WARNINGS ABOUT QUAD BIKES AFTER ACCIDENT

A male believed to be 22 years old remains in a stable condition after a motorcycle accident on Blackhead beach this morning.
The rider suffered serious chest injuries and suspected fractured arms and legs.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter arrived at the scene around 11am to treat the victim, where he was then airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
Meanwhile, a 15 year old quad bike rider suffered pelvic and neck injuries in a rollover on Stockton Beach yesterday afternoon. He’s listed in a stable condition.
Westpac Rescue warns riders to drive cautiously and wear a helmet when riding along sand dunes.
