To breaking news and five men have been rescued off the coast of Newcastle, after their boat capsized during a fishing competition.
The men were taking part in the East Coast Classic, when their seven metre catamaran flipped in choppy conditions 35 kilometres from shore.
The men were rescued by other fisherman in nearby boats, the sunken vessel will be towed to shore tonight.
