Newcastle pilot Matt Hall is completing his final training sessions in the lead up to the opening round of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Abu Dhabi.
“It’s always exciting to start the season it’s a bit more nerve racking than most races because you kind of want to get of on a good foot and you don’t know how everyone else is going to stack up after the winter break”, said Hall.
Hall posted the fastest qualifying time for the event, which begins at 9 o’clock tonight.
