A 58 year old man has died in a crash at Banora Point, on the New South Wales north coast last night.
Emergency services were called to the M1 just before 8.30pm at the turnoff to Fingal, following reports of a collision involving two cars.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man, was treated by Ambulance Paramedics, however died at the scene.
The female driver of the second vehicle was taken to Tweed Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Tweed/Byron Local Area Command are investigating.
