It was a hot weekend that became very humid for those in Newcastle, thanks to a pre frontal trough looming ahead of the real southerly change set to move through tomorrow, moving up the coast and across the region into the evening. Showers and storms will form.

Inland there’ll be a small temperature drop.

The other main feature is the sea surface temperatures off the east coast. The East Australian Current is flowing at 28 degrees. So beach side temperatures range from 26 at the Gold Coast to 23 in Newcastle.
