Demolition work will soon get underway at Pelican Marina, after the complex partially collapsed earlier this week.
Right now, the focus is on stabilising the site, so attempts can be made to retrieve possessions from the building.
The Department of Primary Industries won’t comment on what caused the incident.
A vessel exclusion zone will remain in place until next Friday.
