WEATHER: HOT WITH THREAT OF STORMS MOVING IN

It’s become quite hot with a few storms developing inland from Sydney over the mountains this afternoon. That area of instability is going to spread further north tomorrow.

It will be hot and mostly sunny during the day, with storms likely to form over the Upper Hunter and across the North West.

The south easterly winds will remain strong for the north east corner of NSW and south east QLD. This will help drive in the moisture off what is a very warm ocean, increasing the moisture content further so partly cloudy skies and isolated showers will stream in.
