A host of big name motorbike riders have signed on for Saturday night’s inaugural Tex MacDonald Cup at Kurri Speedway.
Former world champion, Jason Crump, has accepted an invitation to race, as has Central Coast local, Taylor Poole.
Named after a local speedway identity, the meeting will be an important occasion for the Hunter’s own Mason Campton, who grew up with the MacDonald family.
Campton is hoping for a strong showing before he heads to the UK, for the British Premier League season.
