MAN ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT DRINK DRIVING TWICE IN TWO HOURS
A 21-year-old man has been charged, after he was allegedly caught drink driving twice in two hours, on the NSW North Coast.
Police say they stopped the man in a Toyota Hilux in Coffs Harbour in the early hours of this morning.
The man was breath tested and allegedly returned a reading of more than twice the legal limit.
He was charged over the matter and had his licence suspended.
However the accused was allegedly seen back behind the wheel just two hours later on Harbour Drive.
Police allege the man again failed a breath test and ran away upon arrest.
He was located a short time later and charged with two counts of mid range driving, driving while suspended and other traffic offences.
The accused was granted conditional bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court next month.
