Byron Bay surfer Soli Bailey is through to the quarter finals of the World Junior Championships in Portugal.
The 20-year-old posted an 11-point-five to claim the win against fellow Aussie Jacob Wilcox.
“A lot of it was experience from last year I think, just knowing where that boil is, and yeah just trying to sift out a couple of waves”
Bailey will now take on Japan’s Hiroto Ohhara.
