Coffs Harbour squash player Jacob Ford has been chosen for the Australian under 17 team to play New Zealand in a Trans-Tasman test on the Gold Coast in mid January.
Ford recently turned 15 after winning the under 15 Australian championship in Cairns.
He’s also been selected to go to Canberra to join an Australian Institute of Sport camp designed to help squash players reach their full potential.
Ford will receive advice on psychological preparation for matches along with fitness training.
