Quirindi local Sam Carter has received the call up to play for the Wallabies at the World Cup.
The decision was made after forward Will Skelton suffered a shoulder injury in the side’s match against Uruguay.
Carter is currently playing for French rugby club Bordeaux on a four-match deal, but will join the Wallabies camp in time for its game against England on Sunday.
