A 31-year-old man charged with the murder of a 12-year-old girl in the Hunter Valley is facing Maitland court today.
The child was found by police at a house on Redgum Circuit, in Aberglasslyn, at about 5.45am yesterday.
The accused, who was the partner of the girl’s mother, was arrested at nearby Rutherford and was remanded in custody after being charged with murder late yesterday.
