Martin Rush has been re-elected Muswellbrook Mayor, after fending off a challenge by his deputy, Malcolm Ogg.
Councillors voted 8-4 in favour of Mr Rush – it will be his eighth year as mayor.
He says his focus is on council delivering $24-million in infrastructure and road projects, on time and on budget.
