OVERWHELMING SUPPORT FOR NEWCASTLE CHARITY

There’s been a strong response to a heartwarming story we bought you last night, about the Newcastle woman caring for the city’s homeless.

Samantha Banks and her Newcastle Night Angels have received $12,000 in donations in 24 hours, as well as numerous offers of clothing, food and supplies.

The charity is aiming to raise $25,000 to purchase a van, so it can expand its services.
