The future is now looking brighter for the Hastings River Fishermen’s Co-operative, after the state government extended its licence by a year to March 2017.
Minister for Primary Industries, Niall Blair, made the announced this afternoon.
The state government will also help contribute to the building’s demolition.
Earlier this year the Co-op was told to vacate the premises by December, and fully fund its demolition by March next year.
