Two years ago Nick Palmer left Newcastle to further his rugby career in Sydney.
It was a gutsy move that has since paid off for the former Hamilton Hawk.
This week, Palmer returned to Newcastle for a training camp as a member of the professional Rugby Championship squad, the Country Eagles.
