ACCC LAUNCHING INVESTIGATION INTO ARMIDALE FUEL PRICES

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is set to launch an investigation into the price of petrol in Armidale tomorrow.

It’s aiming to discover why those in the Northern Tablelands are paying more than their metropolitan counterparts.

The review is coming at a critical time, with the average price rising by 10 cents per litre in the past month.

The ACCC will accept submissions from all interested parties until October 31.

  1. I can hardly afford petrol! It’s ridiculous an extra 10c a liter might not sound like to much but to a person on $255 a fortnight and struggling because of all these new laws and changes to Centrelink and tafe it’s so expensive!
