EMERGENCY SERVICES RESCUE BUSH WALKERS
Two men have been rescued after being stranded while bush walking at Patonga on the Central Coast.
About 2:30pm, the men aged 64 and 65 were walking from Patonga to Pearl Beach before they became stranded by rising waters along the shoreline.
Police, Paramedics and NSW Fire & Rescue attended the scene and winched the 64-year-old man to safety.
The older man had left the location prior to the rescue, in an attempt to find a way back.
A search began for the second walker who managed to find his way to a home in Pearl Beach and contact emergency services around 9.30.
