The state’s Office of Water has released water allocations for the new financial year.
A lack of water in the Peel Valley catchment will see domestic and stock license holders receive only 70 per cent of their water entitlements.
While in the Namoi and Gwydir Valleys, domestic and stock users have been allocated the full 100 per cent.
Due to the low level of Chaffey, Split Rock and Keepit Dams no water has been allocated to general security licensees in the Peel, Gwydir and Lower Namoi Valleys.
