Tamworth could soon be home to a major US fast-food chain.
Plans have been lodged with Tamworth Regional Council this week to build a Carl’s Jr store on the corner of Scott and Goonoo Goonoo Roads.
Carl’s Jr is known for its raunchy advertising campaigns and currently operates in 42 US states and more than 30 countries around the world.
If the $500,000 development is given the green light, Tamworth could be just one of ten locations in Australia to introduce the fast-food chain.
