In positive news for the Knights – Kurt Gidley, Kade Snowden and Jeremy Smith will return from injury at training on Wednesday, and they’re in line for selection for Saturday’s clash with the Raiders.
Meanwhile, halfback Tyrone Roberts has returned to Newcastle for scans on his injured ankle, after he was forced off the field early in the loss to the Warriors.
The extent of the damage is expected to be known tomorrow.
Speaking after yesterday’s game, coach Rick Stone praised the efforts of his understrength side, which included a resurgent Dane Gagai.
