Police are appealing for information after a 12-year-old girl was approached by a stranger in Wallsend yesterday.
The girl was walking to school along Tyrell Street at around 8am, when she noticed a black Toyota Prado following her.
The girl walked into the yard of a nearby house with the vehicle following her into the driveway , before the driver reversed and drove off.
The driver is descibed as being a Caucasian male, aged in his 40s, with short dark hair and a moustache.
